Paddock for business

Reach drivers who are already out driving.

Paddock is a map of car people: where they are, where they are going, and which meets they are turning up to. If you run a shop, a garage, a detailer or a venue, that is your customers, on the road, deciding where to stop.

What drivers see

On the Business map

Your shop on the map

  1. Drivers see shops as pins
  2. Preferred shops get their name on the map
  3. Seen from 25, 100 or 500 miles away
  4. A driver asks with their car attached

01

Preferred, not a banner

Every shop nearby is already on the map. A Preferred shop is named at every zoom and listed above the rest, with its hours, photos and an offer. Drivers tap it because they want it, not because it got in the way.

02

Drivers ask, with their car attached

Ask opens a message to you with the driver's year, make and model already in it. Drivers start every thread and you reply; you mark each one new, replied, booked or done.

03

A web page, and the numbers

Fill in your listing and you have a page at getpaddockapp.com/b/your-shop that updates with it. Your dashboard shows asks, calls, website taps and Drive here taps for the last 30 days beside the 30 before, and the row drivers see. You choose which sections it shows and in what order. Totals only: you never see who.

Just have one event? Post it as a meet in the app, free. It reaches every driver who looks at that area, the same as a plan's does. A plan puts your shop on the Business map for drivers 25, 100 or 500 miles away, marks your meets as a Preferred shop's, and includes Standard voice. Want a site of your own? We build those too.

Placement principles

How the targeting works, and how it does not

01

You reach an area, not a person.

Preferred listings are shown based on where the map is looking. Not on who is looking at it. Paddock has no advertising SDK and no ad identifier, and nothing about a driver is sold, shared or handed to a network. What you are buying is a place on a map in your area, which is the thing that actually brings someone through the door.

Totals only, never whoYour dashboard counts asks, calls, website taps and Drive here taps. It never shows you who.

02

Paid is labelled paid.

A Preferred listing carries a star and the word, and a Preferred shop's meet is marked as one, with your name on it. A driver who cannot tell an advert from a listing stops trusting both, and then the placement is worth nothing to you.

03

Entry fees are between you and the driver.

If your event charges at the gate, the app says so and says how much. Paddock does not take the money, hold it, or take a cut.

Getting started

Getting started

1. Email us

Tell us what you run and roughly where. We will tell you honestly whether there are drivers near you yet.

2. Make a business account

In the app, pick Business at signup. Add your address, hours, photos and an offer. Your web page is made from them. You get five tabs: Business, Map, Events, Asks and Settings, and the same sign-in switches to a driver view when you are the one driving.

3. Pick a plan

Plans are bought in the app, through Apple. You show as Preferred as soon as the plan starts; your listing text shows once we have reviewed it.

A website for your shop

No site, or one you are tired of? We will build it.

A site for your business on your own domain: what you do, your hours, photos, a map and a way to reach you. We build it, put it online and keep it running.

See three example sites A detailer, a tuning shop and a restorer, built the way yours would be.

Free consult, then a quote for what you need

Every shop needs something different, so there is no set price. Request a free consult: we talk with you about what your business needs, work out the site together, and send you a quote for it: one price to build it, and a monthly for hosting and keeping it up to date.

The consult is free and commits you to nothing. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote. Your domain name is not included. You do not need a Paddock plan to have one.

Already have a Paddock business account? Design it yourself in the Site Studio: pick a look, choose what goes on it, and send it to us to build.

Paddock is in private beta on iPhone. Email and you will be added to TestFlight.

Being straight about the stage: Paddock is in beta and the driver numbers are small. If you are near the early testers a plan is worth it now; if you are not, we will say so and come back to you rather than take the money.
